Terms of Service
Last updated July 2026
These terms govern your use of Arrival Academy ("we", "us", "our"), an online pre-arrival preparation service. By creating an account or redeeming an access code, you agree to them. Arrival Academy is operated by [Arrival Academy Ltd], [Registered office address].
What we provide
Arrival Academy is an online programme that helps international students prepare before they arrive in the UK — video lessons, quizzes, downloadable guides, a pronunciation course, an AI study assistant, and a completion certificate. The service is delivered digitally through your account.
Access codes and accounts
- Access is granted by a single-use access code, issued by an education agent, or by direct purchase from us.
- A code enrols one person in one programme. Codes are non-transferable and expire 12 months after they are issued if not redeemed.
- You must give accurate account details, keep your password secure, and not share your account. You are responsible for activity under your account.
- Your access is a personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable licence to use the course for your own preparation. It is not for commercial use or resale.
Buying through an education agent
Many students receive their access code from an education agent. Where that is the case, your payment arrangement is with the agent, not with us, and any co-branding shown ("Presented by…") reflects that relationship. We are not responsible for an agent's pricing, conduct or advice. Refunds for agent purchases are handled by the agent (see our Refund Policy).
Acceptable use
- Use the service lawfully and for your own preparation.
- Do not copy, record, redistribute, resell or publicly share the course content or your access.
- Do not attempt to break, probe or disrupt the service, or misuse the AI study assistant.
Intellectual property
All course content — videos, text, guides, audio and designs — belongs to us or our licensors and is protected by law. You receive only the limited personal licence described above; no other rights are granted.
Certificates
On completing a programme you receive a verifiable certificate confirming completion. It records that you completed the Arrival Academy programme; it is not an accredited or regulated qualification, and does not guarantee any university admission or visa outcome.
Availability and changes
We aim to keep the service available and accurate, but we do not guarantee uninterrupted access and we may update, improve or withdraw content. We may occasionally take the service down for maintenance.
Our responsibility to you
We provide the service with reasonable care and skill. To the extent permitted by law, we are not liable for indirect or unforeseeable losses, or for outcomes outside our control (such as visa or admissions decisions). Nothing in these terms limits liability that cannot be limited by law — including for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, or for fraud. Your statutory rights as a consumer are not affected.
Ending your access
You can close your account at any time from your account page, which starts our data-deletion process (see the Privacy Policy). We may suspend or end access if these terms are seriously or repeatedly breached.
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. If we make a significant change we will take reasonable steps to let you know. Continuing to use the service after a change means you accept the updated terms.
Governing law
These terms are governed by the laws of England & Wales, and disputes are subject to its courts.
